For dry and dull hair, jajoba oil should be applied which is an effective cure for dry and frizzy hair. Apply this oil prior to bedtime and the hair should be left with the oil at night. In the morning, shampoo the hair completely.
During summer, don't use blow dryers as they make hairs dry. If it is necessary for your usual hairstyling regimen, then you must condition the hair before using it. Further, short hairstyles are better for preventing the hair from the awful effects of sun during the summer season. For controlling frizzes, keep the hair knotted or wear plats or buns in order to keep away from total exposure to sun.

As chlorine causes severe damage to the hair, it is better to dampen the hair with water before going for swimming. Thus, you can reduce the absorption of chlorine. Furthermore, to remove the chlorine residues from the hair, it is highly recommended to shampoo the hair after swimming.
